Charles Shima is the Founder and CEO of ZaNiheza, a booking software and Africa’s first travel marketplace for immersive experiences connecting both travellers and local curators.

When he returned to Rwanda after 24years, he noticed that immersive experiences curated by local curators are not easily found online. ZaNiheza was founded to address this problem. An enthusiastic advocate who is changing the negative narratives of Africa through travel and content creation, he has been featured in various media such as VOA Upfront Africa, NBC Africa, Vancouver Tech Journal.

Mr. Shima is passionate about empowering vulnerable youth and women across Africa. Over the last three years, ZaNiheza has created employment opportunities for over 20 youths.  He is making a positive impact in Africa.
